Description

This Easy Buffalo Chicken Dip is an undeniable crowd-pleaser and game-day MVP, featuring a creamy, spicy, and tangy blend of chicken, cheeses, hot sauce, and ranch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s RedHot Sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese, plus more for topping optionally
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If not already, shred your cooked chicken into fine pieces. Ensure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature for a smooth dip.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it’s light and fluffy. Stir in the 1/2 cup of ranch dressing and 1/2 cup of Frank’s RedHot Sauce until thoroughly combined and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Gently fold the shredded cooked chicken and 1 cup of shredded mild cheddar cheese into the creamy base until everything is well distributed.
  4. Transfer the dip mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish (or similar oven-safe dish), spreading it evenly. If desired, sprinkle more shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly around the edges and the cheese on top is fully melted and lightly golden.
  5. Remove the dip from the oven and let it rest on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes to cool slightly. Garnish with thinly sliced green onions before serving warm with celery sticks, tortilla chips, or your favorite dippers.
  6. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven until warm and bubbly.
