Description
This Easy Buffalo Chicken Dip is an undeniable crowd-pleaser and game-day MVP, featuring a creamy, spicy, and tangy blend of chicken, cheeses, hot sauce, and ranch.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Frank’s RedHot Sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese, plus more for topping optionally
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If not already, shred your cooked chicken into fine pieces. Ensure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature for a smooth dip.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it’s light and fluffy. Stir in the 1/2 cup of ranch dressing and 1/2 cup of Frank’s RedHot Sauce until thoroughly combined and the mixture is smooth.
- Gently fold the shredded cooked chicken and 1 cup of shredded mild cheddar cheese into the creamy base until everything is well distributed.
- Transfer the dip mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish (or similar oven-safe dish), spreading it evenly. If desired, sprinkle more shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly around the edges and the cheese on top is fully melted and lightly golden.
- Remove the dip from the oven and let it rest on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes to cool slightly. Garnish with thinly sliced green onions before serving warm with celery sticks, tortilla chips, or your favorite dippers.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven until warm and bubbly.
