Description
Transform leftover candy corn into crispy, flaky, peanut-buttery bars coated in chocolate. This easy recipe uses simple ingredients and takes less than an hour of hands-on time, resulting in a crunchy, buttery, and nostalgic candy that rivals the store-bought version.
Ingredients

							Scale

			- 16 oz candy corn
 - 1 cup creamy peanut butter
 - 16 oz milk or dark chocolate coating or wafers
 - Wax or parchment paper

Instructions
- Line a 9×13 inch pan with parchment paper, leaving overhangs. Lightly coat with nonstick spray.
 - Microwave candy corn at 50% power for 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth (about 2-3 minutes total).
 - Immediately stir in peanut butter until thick and uniform. Work quickly as it sets fast.
 - Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan, aiming for a 1/4 to 1/2 inch layer. Use another sheet of parchment on top to smooth it.
 - Let the mixture cool completely at room temperature for 1 hour, or refrigerate for 20-30 minutes until firm.
 - Lift the firm slab out of the pan using the parchment paper overhangs and cut into bars or bite-sized pieces.
 - Melt the chocolate coating according to package directions. Dip each bar into the melted chocolate, shake off any excess, and place on fresh parchment paper to harden.

Notes
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
 - Serve with coffee, over ice cream, or as edible gifts.
 - Optional twists: Sprinkle with sea salt, add cayenne pepper for a spicy surprise, or use almond butter and coconut for an “Almond Joy-finger” variation.
