Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can refrigerated crescent or biscuit dough
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine ¼ cup granulated sugar and 1 tsp ground cinnamon.
- Open your dough and cut it into bite-sized pieces (about 1-inch chunks).
- Dip each dough piece in melted butter, then roll it in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until well coated.
- Arrange the coated dough pieces on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- While the bites bake, whisk together ½ cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon milk, and ¼ tsp vanilla extract until smooth. Add more milk, a teaspoon at a time, if needed for drizzling consistency.
- Let the cinnamon roll bites cool for about 2 minutes, then drizzle with glaze while still warm.
- Enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Use cold dough for easier handling.
- Do not overcrowd the baking sheet for even baking.
- Add a pinch of salt to the cinnamon sugar for a sweet-salty flavor.
- For a fall twist, add nutmeg or apple pie spice to the cinnamon sugar.
