- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 8 oz button or cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: Dice chicken into bite-sized pieces, mince garlic, and slice mushrooms.
- Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season diced chicken with salt and pepper. Sauté until golden brown and cooked through (7-10 minutes). Remove from skillet.
- Sauté the vegetables: In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed. Sauté garlic for about 30 seconds, then add mushrooms; cook until tender (5 minutes).
- Create the sauce: Pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously. Add soy sauce and stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Combine everything: Return cooked chicken to the skillet along with your choice of pasta. Toss until well-coated in the sauce.
- Serve hot: Plate the pasta with extra Parmesan on top and enjoy!
