Description
Add a touch of fun and flavor to your Christmas cocktails and winter mocktails with these festive Christmas ice cubes. Filled with cranberries, rosemary, or citrus slices, they’re ideal for Christmas entertaining, Xmas dinner, and Christmas brunch.
Ingredients
Scale
- Filtered water, boiled and cooled
- 24 fresh blueberries
- 12 small rosemary sprigs, rinsed and trimmed
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: Rinse the blueberries under cool water and pat them dry. Wash the rosemary sprigs thoroughly, shake off any excess water, and trim them into short, drinkable pieces about 1 to 1.5 inches long.
- Fill the tray: Place two blueberries and one rosemary sprig into each compartment of a clean ice cube tray. Use a spoon to gently press the ingredients down if they float.
- Add water partially: Fill each mold halfway with the cooled, boiled water. This helps set the ingredients in place. Freeze for 1 hour or until partially frozen.
- Top off and freeze: Once the first layer is frozen, fill each mold to the top with more cooled, boiled water. Return the tray to the freezer and freeze until fully solid, about 4–5 more hours or overnight.
- Store: Once fully frozen, remove the cubes from the tray and transfer them to a freezer-safe container or bag. Store until ready to use in drinks.
