Ingredients
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 4 large Russet potatoes, peeled and diced

Instructions
- Prepare the sausage by slicing it into ¼-inch rounds.
- Add all ingredients to the slow cooker except for the heavy cream and cheese. Stir well to combine.
- Cover and cook on high for approximately 3 ½ hours or on low for 5 ½ hours, until the potatoes are tender and the flavors have melded.
- Stir in the heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese. Cook for an additional 30 minutes on low until the cheese is melted and the soup is creamy.
