Instructions
- In a large bowl, gently combine the ground beef, Italian breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just blended.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a plate.
- In your crockpot, stir together the crushed tomatoes, onion powder, oregano, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Carefully place the meatballs into the sauce, ensuring each one is nestled and submerged.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- About 20 minutes before you’re ready to serve, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain well.
- Plate the spaghetti and generously top with the meatballs and sauce. Garnish with freshly grated Parmesan cheese or a sprinkle of parsley.
