Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Cream butter and sugars, then mix in egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough, flatten slightly, and gently shape into hearts on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
- While warm, use a heart-shaped cutter to reshape cookies if needed.
- Cool briefly, then decorate with chocolate drizzle or sprinkles if desired.
