- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips gently with a spatula.
- Scoop dough onto prepared sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8–9 minutes, then remove and press mini marshmallows onto each cookie.
- Return to oven for 1–2 minutes to melt marshmallows lightly.
- Allow cookies to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
