Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar or honey (adjust to taste)

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream
  • Crushed peppermint candies
  • Chocolate shavings

Instructions

  1. Add milk, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt to a small saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium-low heat, whisking constantly, until hot and smooth. Do not allow to boil.
