- 1 ½ pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional)
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 cloves minced garlic
- Optional garnish: toasted sesame seeds, red pepper flakes, or lemon zest
Instructions
- Rinse Brussels sprouts thoroughly and pat dry. Trim ends, remove outer leaves, and slice in half lengthwise.
- Place sprouts in a bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread sprouts on the baking sheet cut-side down, avoiding overcrowding.
- Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden brown.
- Toss with Parmesan or balsamic glaze if desired, and garnish as preferred.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
