 - 2 ounces smoked salmon or lox
 - 2 tablespoons red onion, thinly sliced
 - 1 tablespoon capers
 - 2 teaspoons fresh dill leaves
 
Instructions
- Toast the bread slices until golden and crisp. For extra flavor, you can rub the warm toast with a garlic clove.
 - In a small bowl, mash the avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to your taste.
 - Spread 2 tablespoons of cream cheese evenly on each slice of toast.
 - Gently spread the mashed avocado mixture over the cream cheese layer on each toast.
 - Arrange the sliced tomatoes and cucumber evenly on top of the avocado.
 - Drape the smoked salmon slices over the vegetables.
 - Scatter the thinly sliced red onions and capers over the salmon.
 - Finish by sprinkling fresh dill leaves over the entire toast.
 - Serve immediately.

- For crispier toast, ensure it’s toasted thoroughly and assemble just before serving.
