Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Table Salt
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 tablespoon Grated Orange Zest
- 1 cup Dried Cranberries
- 1 cup White Chocolate, Chopped or Chips
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 2 cups Confectioners’ Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Orange Juice
- 1/2 cup Melted White Chocolate
- 1/2 cup Chopped Dried Cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray and line with parchment paper.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until golden brown, about 5–7 minutes. Let it cool completely.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled browned butter with light brown sugar and whisk until smooth. Add in the eggs, vanilla extract, and grated orange zest, stirring to combine.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula until just combined. Incorporate chopped white chocolate and dried cranberries evenly.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan and bake for 18–22 minutes until set and golden. Avoid overbaking.
- Beat cream cheese until creamy in a bowl, then add confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, orange juice, and orange zest, mixing until fluffy.
- Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled bars. Sprinkle chopped cranberries and drizzle with melted white chocolate.
- Lift bars from the pan using parchment overhang, slice into squares, and serve.
