- 2 black tea bags
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Warm your mug by rinsing it with hot water and set it aside.
- Brew the tea using 2 black tea bags in 1/2 cup of boiling water. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, add milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir gently until warm and sugar is dissolved.
- Pour the brewed tea into your mug and top with the warm milk mixture.
- Use a milk frother or whisk to create a foamy texture on top.
- Sprinkle cinnamon over the top and add whipped cream if desired.
- Serve hot with a sugar cookie on the side.
