- 200g ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the ground beef until browned and crumbly, then drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onions and garlic; cook until soft and fragrant.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce and beef broth.
- Sprinkle flour into the pan and stir well to thicken the filling.
- Add peas, then season with salt and pepper. Let the filling cool completely.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into circles.
- Place filling on one pastry round, cover with another, and seal edges.
- Cut a slit in the top of each pie to release steam.
- Brush with beaten egg for a glossy finish.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let pies cool slightly before serving.

- This pie can be made ahead and frozen for later use.
