Turkey Meatball Gyros with Tzatziki & Pita is a mouthwatering twist on traditional gyros that combines juicy turkey meatballs, creamy tzatziki sauce, and soft pita bread.

- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 4 soft pita breads
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- While meatballs bake, whisk together Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make tzatziki sauce.
- Once meatballs are done, place them in warm pita bread and top with tzatziki sauce before serving.
